ALISTAIR THOMPSON

I have worked in the Film Industry since 1991, initially in-house at 20th Century Fox in London focused mainly on the Film Distribution. 

My career in the world of feature production started in 1995 when I was offered the opportunity to work with the highly respected production accountant Carolyn Hall on the Tristar Pictures version of the Jekyl and Hyde story entitled “Mary Reilly”. 

I continued the progression in production accounting assisting on other high profile features “The Fifth Element”, “The Mummy”, “The Mummy Returns” and “Quills” before starting the journey as production accountant on the highly acclaimed Robert Altman production “Gosford Park”.  

My work as a Production Accountant and Financial Controller with many well known Producers and Directors has taken me to many locations around the world for both Major Studios and independents.

I am a member of the Production Guild of Great Britain and the British Academy of Film and Television.
